The Hundred Acre Wood

If you’ve read or watched Winnie the Pooh then you know about the Hundred Acre Wood.

It is a place where all of Pooh’s adventures with his friends occur.  It is a place where relaxation and fun take precedent.  The world of Work never invades the Hundred Acre Wood.  I was reminded of the importance of the Hundred Acre Wood while watching the recent Christopher Robin movie.

I’ve been spending too much time on Work.  And Teddy knows it. Recently he has started coming up to me while I’m at my desk, putting his front paws on my leg, and looking up at me. Clearly he’s telling me, “Time to step away from the desk and visit the Hundred Acre Wood”.  Meaning of course, it’s time to make time for something other than Work.
